Young Adult, I was about 13 when I first realized I was seriously curious about hypnosis and its potential! You see, I was like the 5th wheel in My circle of girlfriends. At 11, I had just moved into a new city - and everyone already had friends. I was less developed than the other girls, but as I thought back to an experience I had in 4th grade, I just knew that I could continue to develop Myself in a way that could make such a difference that I just had to learn how! So, as I remember the 4th grade experience... I was back in Hales Corners Elementary, and the boys liked to play chase the girls. Yea, I know - sounds lame, but it's true! So, there was this one boy in particular liked to chase Me.. but not only did he like to chase Me, but he wanted to kiss Me! YUCK! So - on one particular occasion - as he was chasing Me - I simply stopped suddenly behind a BIG tree... the trunk was so big that the two of us could be behind and none of the teachers could see us! And I looked right into his eyes and puffed Myself up as BIG as I could get and yelled "FREEZE". And he did! I told him that he was now My slave and he would always do as I said, carry My books, get My lunch, and protect Me from ther boys, And he did! From that day on - until I moved to Minnetonka, he was My slave. But let Me continue with how I began to get information on hypnosis when I was younger. Yea yea yea, you are thinking that you are going to hear about long boring tales of walking to school during freezing blizzards....but, we didn't, we roda a school bus... and when it snowed too much for the busses to get running, we had SNOW DAYS! So, what I am trying to tell you ..is that you are not alone! Now, don't laugh - but one of the ways I used to get information on hypnosis was in the public library! Yes, you can go to the library and read up on hypnosis to your heart's content and your parents will be thrilled that you want to go to the library! Now, you might even be surprised to discover that you have a love of books and a secret love for more knowledge...so if you want to read some more read books that are freely available in the library - I'll make a list that you can click on at the end of this note!
